This blog is to compile a wide range of projects I am (or have been) involved with, personal and professional, including 3d games/apps prototypes, tabletop games development, 3d design samples and, in short, everything that could be of interest for a professional portfolio.
There will be only one filter from my side: only projects I enjoyed and 'made me grow' will be included here.
One more tower defense BFS, better than the last one. Game parameters are easily configurable by non-programmes and the game includes three enemy types, two test scenes (DemoLevel1 and DemoLevel2), BFS recalculation when needed, camera pan, rotation and zoom, dosen't allow the player to block all paths to crystals and other features
Welcome to our VR prototype of the polar 'Asteroids' game. This is a small project developed by me and my fellow Sancho Muñoz developed in a weekend for the Escuela Politecnica de Cáceres 2016 fair. The prototype was displayed in the fair using Oculus Rift and we got very nice feedback.
Intro: You are in your spacesuit out from your ship after a critical failure. Your only hope it's to reach the near mining space station. Unfortunately it's too far to go there with the limited oxygen and fuel supply in your suit so you first must find the escape ship.
The scene has two stages:
-1- You must find the escape ship but beware!!. Zero G displacements are extremely difficult. You should move in short thrusts while you are extremely careful of the momentum and try to maintain situational awareness. Remember, you have a limited oxygen supply too so don't be too careful!!
-2- Finally you reached the escape ship. It was hard but you have a nice reward: unlimited fuel, oxygen, a mining gravity ray and few missiles. All you need to do now it's to find the entry to the station dodging the asteroids.
A teaser of the second scene. In this scene player can make a free tour looking for the target underwater sphere (the pointer at the bottom left of the screen works as guide). The sub is moved by physics and there are a couple of surprises around :)

A very low poly stadium for our penalty shooting game for Android. Model made from scratch.
After working in Nautilus VR and its 'look to move forward' we found that it didn't work properly for some scenes so here is an alternative. Instead the Nautilus 'free mode' to slowly explore the scene at will this system is based in a set of waypoints set in the scene. Looking at them for a few seconds camera jumps to its vicinity. This works better than Nautilus in big scenes or when you want the player to go find specific details in the scene.
A teaser of our beloved Xpheron Project from Rectangular Studios. The first of 4 scenes from our prototype. In development but already Oculus Ready.
For this project I'm working not only as developer but also as part of the 3D design team
This is a little thing I'm currently working with a friend.
We are using Google Play Game (thanks G!!) and the game will offer options to add friends and match them in penalties matches. Players will be also able to customize their characters with different clothes and items. The game will also offer tournaments for players.
Is still a WiP version but at least can give you a sight of how it will work. Keep in mind that there are a lot of placeholders and that everything is made from scratch by us (well, everything but the Google Play Game thing ;) )
